Incoming! Weekend Gig Focus: W/E 23rd of July

Here are our top pics for this weekend.

Excuse the irregular formatting.

WordPress has decided to throw its dummy out of the pram today and my patience has run out trying to sort it.

Telfords Warehouse: Campfire Social + Sustinere:

Doors: 8pm. Stage time: 9.30pm. Tickets: £5.

Their sound is a tapestry of vibrant harmonies interwoven with hypnotic melodies, creating a dynamic and rich musical experience. As you listen, you’ll find a common thread of self-deprecation, with a glimmer of hope shining through.

A contagious riff-filled, high-energy experience that’ll have you headbanging. These two know how to invite you into their rock ‘n’ roll realm, and trust us, you won’t be able to resist the invitation. We love them at C8HQ.

HMV Chester: Jamie Higgs:

3pm. Free Entry.

A self-taught musician who has been making waves in the regional music scene. With a passion for gigging and constantly honing their craft, this artist’s musical journey revolves around performing his own original material and putting their unique twist on some well-known covers.

He recently had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the Narrowboat Sessions, showcasing their exceptional talent and passion for music.

So, if you’re looking for soulful melodies and refreshing interpretations, this musician’s performances are not to be missed.

The Live Rooms: Aleya and Octopus Montage:

Doors: 7pm. Tickets: £10/£7 advance.

With early support from Kerrang! Radio, Aleya spent their first years rocking stages across the north. They were featured on impressive lineups alongside The Bunny The Bear, Cabin Boy Jumped Ship, Raiders (ex-The Blackout), Where Oceans Burn, DREAMEATER, Havelocke, Downcast, Haggard Cat, and many others.

Their debut headline shows in Manchester and Chester drew packed rooms and left the audience craving for more of their electrifying performances.

Octopus Montage:

The UK-based quartet Octopus Montage, formed by brother and sister Dec and Davina Naylor, brings a fresh twist to Easycore. They skillfully blend energetic Pop-Punk anthems with intense Metalcore, creating a unique and electrifying musical experience.

Have a fantastic weekend and don’t forget we have an action-packed weekend of music right here if you’re skint and fancy staying in with a couple of cans, including live DJs on Friday from 6pm.
