FRIDAY:

Telfords Warehouse:

Muddy Elephant & Richard Ready:

Since their inception, Muddy Elephant have left an indelible mark on both the music industry and enthusiastic audiences alike.

Their musical journey began with a resounding success as they completely sold out their debut hometown show, drawing a crowd of 300 fervent fans who couldn’t get enough of their electrifying performance. The momentum didn’t stop there, as they went on to headline at the prestigious Jimmy’s Manchester, yet again captivating audiences and leaving them wanting more.

Muddy Elephant’s passion for their craft earned them an incredible opportunity to support Corella at The Deaf Institute, where they showcased their unique sound to an even wider audience. But they didn’t stop at that; their musical prowess also earned them a spot at Manchester Academy 3, where they shared the stage with the talented band Freeda, further solidifying their presence in the music scene.

The band’s undeniable talent and hard work have not gone unnoticed by influential media outlets. Their music has garnered significant attention through BBC Introducing, showcasing the band’s potential to a broader national audience. Additionally, their tracks have been featured on ITV’s popular show “This Morning,” further amplifying their reach and influence.

Muddy Elephant’s tunes have even graced the atmosphere of iconic sporting events, such as match days at Anfield, the famed stadium of Liverpool FC, resonating with both sports fans and music enthusiasts.

Support comes from talented singer-songwriter Richard Ready.

With a passion for creating heartfelt melodies and soul-stirring lyrics, Richard has been diligently crafting his musical journey for the past eight years, leaving a trail of resonant tunes in his wake.

Currently, Richard is immersed in the creative process, pouring his heart and soul into his eagerly anticipated second album. Building on the success of his debut album titled ‘Not Ready,’ which he independently released in 2019, Richard is set to enchant audiences with a fresh collection of captivating tracks.

Upon its release, ‘Not Ready‘ received well-deserved recognition, catching the attention of BBC Introducing. His music was embraced by this influential platform, providing Richard with a wider audience eager to embrace his unique sound and artistry.

In addition to the support from BBC Introducing, Richard’s musical talents found a home with respected music curators such as AlexRainbirdmusic and Mostly Strings. Their appreciation and endorsement of his work further amplified his presence in the indie folk scene and introduced his music to a diverse and engaged audience.

Richard Readey’s compositions possess a rare blend of authenticity and emotion, making them an absolute delight for folk music enthusiasts. His profound lyrics and soulful melodies resonate deeply with listeners, leaving an indelible impression that lingers long after the music fades.

As Richard continues to evolve as an artist and delve into new creative ventures with his upcoming album, we can’t help but feel excited about the musical journey that lies ahead. With his boundless talent and dedication to his craft, Richard Readey is undoubtedly a name to watch in the indie folk genre, and his music is bound to touch the hearts of many more listeners in the years to come.

This gig has sold out online. There’s merely a handful left on the door on the night so be quick.
